I am an RN Clinical Coordinator and I work at the Southside Bethlehem Family Fowler Center located in Donegan Elementary School. I have worked for NHCLV for the past three years.
2. Why do you think an FQHC is important in caring for members of the Lehigh Valley community?
Because it allows us to serve the underserved population and we don’t turn anyone away.
3. What’s the most important thing you have learned working for an FQHC?
That we are here to serve the community and to help assist in educating our patients about managing their health in a way that is individualized for each and every one of them.
4. What do you love most about your job?
I love that I am able to go to work and it doesn’t feel like work because this is what I love to do – taking care of the community one patient at a time.
5. What one piece of advice do you have for patients when it comes to caring for their health?
To ask as many questions as possible in order to understand their health, and to know that we are here for them.
