Screening, diagnosis, and counseling for mental health conditions such as depression or anxiety, or referral to community mental health provider who can meet your needs. Our behavioral health staff work with your primary care provider to ensure your care plan is coordinated and takes your needs and preferences into account. We work with individuals, couples, and families, and we see children as well as adults for counseling. Group counseling is also offered.

Managing your health doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Our Case Management Service pairs you with a dedicated healthcare professional—a nurse or social worker—to help guide your care every step of the way.

Think of your case manager as your personal health partner and central point of contact.

If you have health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease, our team of nurses will assist you to set and achieve goals that you want to reach. We will provide support and education so that you understand your care plan and will make sure we understand your preferences so we can partner with you to improve your health.

Our dental clinic provides high-quality, comprehensive care for patients of all ages. We offer full dental exams, deep cleanings, fillings, emergency exams, and custom occlusal guards to support your oral health and comfort.

Our services are open to everyone in the community whether or not you have dental insurance.

These services are available at our Allentown – Hamilton Street and Bethlehem- Broad Street locations only. 

We provide preventive dental services including professional cleanings, screenings, radiographs (X-rays), sealants, fluoride application, and oral health education: Personalized advice to avoid dental issues before they start, including home care guidance and risk assessments.

Open to everyone in the community with or without dental insurance. You do not need to be an NHCLV patient to access our dental services.

These services are available at our Allentown – Hamilton Street, Bethlehem- Broad Street, and Easton- Northampton Street locations.

We offer on-site pregnancy testing, counseling on birth control options, and procedures for certain methods such as intrauterine devices (IUDs) or implants (such as Nexplanon). If you do not have insurance, we can work with you to find an affordable option.

Assistance with applications for insurances and public benefits, prescription assistance, rental and food bank assistance, social security benefits, Pennie (health insurance), Medicare and Medicaid applications, transportation, or other programs that you may qualify for. Also Center for Excellence support for opiate use disorder.

As part of your visit, Point of Care (POC) testing is covered. For your convenience, NHCLV has partnered with LabCorp at Hamilton and Easton to provide onsite lab testing. This partnership allows you to complete your lab tests onsite, with billing sent directly to your insurance. If you are uninsured, LabCorp offers discounted rates, and you will receive a bill for the services.

If we do not perform the lab test, we will work with you to find a lab that accepts your insurance or offers discounted pricing. Currently, our health centers do not provide radiology services such as X-rays, ultrasounds, or CT scans. If your primary care provider recommends these tests, we will assist you in finding a testing center where they can be performed.

Screening, diagnosis and treatment for substance use disorders including opioids and alcohol. If our services are not right for you, we’ll help you find treatment with another organization in the region.

We provide all primary care services your child needs, including well-child visits, immunizations, sick visits, screenings for vision and hearing, school physicals, and referrals if your child needs specialist care. In addition we do screening tests for developmental issues and mental health problems. We can work with your child or refer them to other community providers for management of mental health and developmental problems.

Medical care focused on prevention of health problems, as well as appointments if you are sick or to manage chronic conditions. Primary care services are for anyone—men, women, children and seniors. If we cannot take care of your health problem, we will refer you to a specialist and assist you with finding one. Depending on your age, family history, or other information we ask you, we will offer screenings for cancer, heart disease, or other health problems like Hepatitis C or other infections. We also offer all recommended vaccines for children, and certain age-appropriate vaccinations for adults.

Family-centered care for the expecting mother and her baby. We provide recommended screenings like lab tests, ongoing check-ups throughout your pregnancy, and counseling and education regarding childbirth, nutrition, breastfeeding, and postpartum care. If your pregnancy is high-risk we will assist you to find an OB and follow up with you to make sure you are receiving the services you need. At this time we do not do ultrasounds in our health center, but we will help you coordinate any need ultrasounds. For deliveries, we have a strong partnership with local hospitals and will coordinate all aspects of your care.

If you think you have been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease or HIV, we provide testing, counseling and treatment. If you need follow up care that we cannot provide, we will help you to find a specialist that can take care of you, and we’ll make sure that you are receiving the services you need.

We offer preventive care and treatment of certain gynecologic conditions, breast and pelvic exams, cervical cancer screening (pap smears), and certain gynecologic procedures. If a specialist referral is needed, we will help you find a specialist that can take care of your health condition.
