Services

The following health care services are offered to NHCLV patients. If you are interested in becoming a patient at one of our community health centers in the Lehigh Valley, please contact us.

Pediatrics

We provide all primary care services your child needs, including well-child visits, immunizations, sick visits, screenings for vision and hearing, school physicals, and referrals if your child needs specialist care. In addition we do screening tests for developmental issues and mental health problems. We can work with your child or refer them to other community providers for management of mental health and developmental problems.

Prenatal & Postpartum Care

Family-centered care for the expecting mother and her baby. We provide recommended screenings like lab tests, ongoing check-ups throughout your pregnancy, and counseling and education regarding childbirth, nutrition, breastfeeding, and postpartum care. If your pregnancy is high-risk we will assist you to find an OB and follow up with you to make sure you are receiving the services you need. At this time we do not do ultrasounds in our health center, but we will help you coordinate any need ultrasounds. For deliveries, we have a strong partnership with local hospitals and will coordinate all aspects of your care.

Primary Care Services

Medical care focused on prevention of health problems, as well as appointments if you are sick or to manage chronic conditions. Primary care services are for anyone—men, women, children and seniors. If we cannot take care of your health problem, we will refer you to a specialist and assist you with finding one. Depending on your age, family history, or other information we ask you, we will offer screenings for cancer, heart disease, or other health problems like Hepatitis C or other infections. We also offer all recommended vaccines for children, and certain age-appropriate vaccinations for adults.

Behavioral Health/Mental Health Counseling

Screening, diagnosis, and counseling for mental health conditions such as depression or anxiety, or referral to another community mental health provider who can meet your needs. Our behavioral health staff work with your primary care provider to ensure your care plan is coordinated and takes your needs and preferences into account. We work with individuals, couples, and families, and we see children as well as adults for counseling. Group counseling is also offered.

Chronic Care Management

If you have health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease, our team of nurses will assist you to set and achieve goals that you want to reach. We will provide support and education so that you understand your care plan and will make sure we understand your preferences so we can partner with you to improve your health.

Dental

Preventive dental services such as basic dental screening, cleanings, and oral health education are offered in our Easton location, as well as exams, fillings, extractions, root canals, and emergencies. Coming soon – dentures.

Open to everyone in the community with or without dental insurance. You do not need to be an NHCLV patient to access our dental services.

Call us at 484-548-1250 to find out if we accept your dental insurance plan. Patients without dental insurance are charged for our dental services on a sliding scale basis based on income.

Medical Lab Testing

For your convenience, certain lab tests can be performed at our health centers. If we do not perform the lab test, we will work with you to identify a lab that takes your insurance or can offer you a discount on testing fees. At this time we do not offer any radiology tests at our health centers, such as X-rays, ultrasounds, or CT scans. We will assist you to find a testing center where you can have these tests done if recommended by your primary care provider.
