Invitation to Bid – 635 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem


The Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley (NHCLV) will receive sealed bids, appropriately identified, for:

until 4:00 pm, on Friday, January 31, 2020, which shall be delivered to:

Bids shall be submitted on the form provided and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check equal to ten percent of the total price submitted inclusive of add alternates. Bids must remain valid for the period of time stated on the bid form. The NHCLV reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

RFIs will be received until close of business on Wednesday, January 29th.

Bid Documents may be obtained from BDA Architects, LLC, 74 West Broad Street, Suite 260, Bethlehem, PA 18108, telephone (610) 625-0096, fax (570) 586-6549. A nonrefundable fee of $25 for pdf files is required and must be in the form of a corporate or business check made payable to BDA Architects, LLC and sent to the address above. Files may be purchased on a CD and shipped or picked up or can be emailed. Partial sets will not be issued. For shipping other than UPS Ground, bidders must provide BDA with a shipping account number; i.e., UPS or Federal Express, and specify how the Bid Documents are to be shipped; i.e., air or ground. If a Bidder does not have such an account, arrangements must be made in advance by calling BDA.

Project is to be bid under one (1) prime General Trades Construction contract and shall include architectural, plumbing, and electrical services for minor interior renovations to the existing two (2) suites at the 635 E. Broad Street building. Selected vendor Midmark modular equipment will be contracted separately through the Owner, but installed by the Contractor.

Pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am at the project site, 635 E. Broad Street on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020. Attendance is recommended, but not mandatory.
Site visitation is recommended. Bidders may visit the site on selected weekdays from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., provided advance request (48-hour notice) is made by emailing Josefina Morales at to make arrangements.

All requests for Bid Documents shall include the following information:
1. Name of bidding Contractor.
2. UPS/Federal Express shipping address.
3. Email address for addenda purposes.
